how it all started

Flashback made its debut at a fundraiser in Compass Pointe, Leland, NC.  The band came together when JoJo P. , Paul Potito and Steve Jackson started playing rhythm section accompanying musical guests appearing in the development.

Soon after, Kim and Alan Mulvaney became full-time residents and were looking to join a band.  After joining a few rehearsals, Flashback was born.  Still in need of a lead guitar player, Richard Johnson contacted Alan and asked if we needed a guitar player.  One more rehearsal with Richard, and BOOM, it was time to rock.  Paul is no longer a regular with us but was key in bringing the band together.  He still joins us to share his vocals for Rolling Stone songs as back-up harmonies.
